Chakrata is a small cantonment town located 92 km from Dehradun. The former name of Chakrata was Jaunsar Bawar, a small village of the Jaunsari tribe. Due to its proximity from Delhi NCR, it makes a perfect weekend getaway. It is a perfect getaway for honeymooners as well and for those who are interested in doing nothing except for basking in the glory of the sun.

Tiger Falls: Tiger falls is the main attraction in Chakrata - 20 kms and 1kms trek from road. Chakrata Tiger water fall is highest (height of about 312ft.) waterfall in Uttarakhand.
Deoban: Deoban is a beautiful dense forest of covered with Deodar trees.Situated 12kms from Chakrata.where you can see the captivating and eye feasting views of the enchanting Himalayan range.
Budher Cave (40 kms): Thana Danda Peak are other popular tourist places in the vicinity of Chakrata.
Ram Tall Horticulture Garden (12 kms): A beautiful natural pond,variety of flora and fauna, worth seen sceneries and apple garden making it an ideal picnic spot.
Chirmiri(3kms): Chirmiri Neck is the highest peak in Chakrata surrounded by lush green deodar forests.Tourists can enjoy the magnificent view of the Himalayan Range.
Chinta Haran Mahadev (3kms): Chinta Haran Mahadev is a temple dedicated to Lord Shiva which is situated 3 kms from town Chakrata.

Package Itinerary

Day 1: Dehradun
Pick up from Dehradun Bus stand ,Railway station and Air port and drive to Dehradun local sightseeing en-route on arrival Chakratai check in at hotel.Dinner and over night stay hotel.

Day 2: Dehradun – Chakrata (95kms/3.5hrs) apporoximate time.
Drive to Chakrata local sightseeing en-route on arrival Chakratai check in at hotel.Dinner and over night stay hotel.

Day 3: Chakrata Full Sightseeing
Morning after breakfast chakrata local sight seeing Chakrata Tiger Falls, Deoban dense forest, Budher Cave, Ram Tall Horticulture Garden, Chirmiri, Chinta Haran Mahadev. Evening back to Hotel. Dinner & overnight stay at hotel.



Day 4: Chakrata – Dehradun (95kms/3.5hrs)
Check out from hotel and further transfer to Dehradun Railway station/ Bus stand/ Airport to catch your pre booked train bus and flight for further journey.Tour End
